Thanksgiving Day22
Hi everyone!
Today I'm thankful for cozy, rainy days. Having grown up in the Bay Area, I adore drizzly weather. However, living in the desert, I don't get all that much of it. That's what makes days like today all the more special and enjoyable.
Have a great night!

Thanksgiving Day 21
Hi everyone!
Today I am grateful for heating pads. My neck had been bothering me all day and it's so nice to sit under one and have a chance to relax and feel better.
We are gearing up for our first winter storm on Saturday. There is never a lot of snow here but we are anticipating about three inches of rain by the time the weekend is over. I've told Hubby that rather than going to the football game I'm going to stay home with Big Boy and build an ark!
In anticipation of colder weather, I was trying on some of my warmer work pants this afternoon and am positively thrilled by the changes I see in my body after consistently working out and working on my eating habits for six weeks. I even got asked by a coworker today if I had lost weight- very exciting!!
Stay cool!

Thanksgiving Day 20
Hi guys!
Today I'm grateful for my career. I'm so lucky to work in a field that I love, especially since I mostly stumbled into it by accident along the way.

Thanksgiving Day 19
Hi everyone!
Today I am grateful for snuggly blankets and books. There's nothing quite like a relaxing evening on the couch.
Tomorrow is a big day at work. The accreditation people are visiting to review the schools application for reaccreditation. It's going to be one of those days where I have to break out my big girl clothes and act like a grown up!

Thanksgiving Day 18
Hey guys!
Today I'm thankful for my financial independence. It seems like so very many people have been struggling in the last few years, including in our families, and I'm so grateful that through a lot of hard work and a little good luck, Hubby and I have been able to buy a house, save for retirement and a rainy day, and take care of each other. It's a very nice feeling to know that our hard work and financial prudence are paying off.
What are you thankful for today?

Today I am thankful for crisp, chilly fall weather. We have been waiting for it for a long time and it feels like fall is finally here.
Hooray!!
