This past weekend, Hubby and I took a road trip to a city on the other side of Bavaria; Wurzberg! It's perhaps best know for its Royal Residence, which is modeled after Versailles in France. We met up with some friends there and went inside the Residence for a tour, although no cameras were allowed. It's quite a place! It was also nice that it wasn't completely packed like Versailles was over the summer.
We were able to take pictures in the Royal Gardens outside afterwards:
We always try to take some pictures with us in them!
We had some breakfast while waiting for our friends. Yum!
The gates into the Gardens.
The main entrance.
A model of the Residence. It really give you an idea of the sheer scale of the place.
The view from the parking lot. Wow!
It's really starting to look like autumn in Germany!
Peek-a-boo!
The statues were really amazing!
One part of the Royal Gardens still had amazing, colorful flower displays.
After lunch, we went sightseeing in the historic downtown and crossed the famous Walking Bridge.
The Walking Bridge has many guardians.

What did you do this weekend?
Stay stylish!
